Lineman: The City of Burlingame is accepting applications for part-time and full-time lineman. This position will perform lineman duties in maintaining, repairing, and construction of electric distribution system network. This position will require on-call duty time as well as regular hours worked, plus this position will require work on other city utilities if assigned. Successful applicant must have high school diploma or GED, current Kansas class B CDL, and lineman apprenticeship experience. Salary is based on experience and qualifications. City Superintendent: The City of Burlingame is accepting applications for City Superintendent. This position is for a working supervisor who will be responsible to manage, plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of public works including the maintenance and operations of the natural gas, electrical, water, and wastewater distribution systems, and for facility and road maintenance. This position requires strong management, communication, and public relations skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in city utility operations, along with natural gas, water, and wastewater certification and a valid CDL.
