Recreational Opportunities Near Burlingame
LAKES
There are two federal reservoirs in Osage County: Pomona Lake and Melvern Lake. Both are within 30 minutes of Burlingame and have state parks, public hunting areas, fishing, camping and water sports. Both lakes have camping areas that have electric and water hook ups and waste disposal. Both lakes also have several trails for either walking or horseback riding. Check out their sites:
