City Government Burlingame is a city of the third class. We are a full service government offering police protection, building inspections, and utilities including water, sewer, natural gas, electricity, and trash pick-up. We have a Mayor-Council type government with the meeting on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month at 7:00pm and are held in the Council Chamber of City Hall. City staff has and continues to provide many types of information about the city on this web site. If you are unable to find answers to your questions or would like some additional information contact us by using the link at the bottom of this page. The links on the home page will direct you to different branches of the local government and other quasi-governmental services such as the local Fire District and the Library.
